As a follow up to the orientation, the Secretary has a message for all new student organization leaders:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Congratulations on being elected a student leader for one of our diverse Student Organizations. The ICC looks forward to helping you advance the vision you have for the student experience at Miami Law.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A few reminders and to-do&#8217;s for newly elected student leaders:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read the student handbook\n<ul>\n<li>The student handbook should be your first stop in preparing for an effective leader and your first step when a question arises<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Begin strategic planning now!\n<ul>\n<li>Strategic planning should be from May 15 &#8211; June 15. The early part of the summer is the best time to lay the foundation for your student organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Congratulations again on being elected as a leader of your student organization.
