Empowered Youth Program

Did you know that our UM Law students are volunteering weekly right on campus?
Every Saturday from 12 to 2 P.M. law students meet with Miami’s inner-city at-risk young men between the ages of 12 and 19. The Child Advocacy and Family Law Society hosts the Empowered Youth Program, which pairs 10-15 participants (many who have been referred by the juvenile justice system) to the law campus for tutoring sessions. It requires NO tutoring experience, and all the materials are provided for you. All you have to do is show up! Come once, twice, or every Saturday if you have time. Although not required, please sign up here.
